Description
In Sanskrit, Panchagavya Ghrit means ‘Pancha’ means five, ‘Gavya’ means ingredients and ‘Ghrita’ means ghee. According to Ayurveda, panchagavya ghrit is considered to be a classic herbal remedy for various ailments related to the brain, eyes, ears, nose, mouth and neck. Panchagavya Ghrit also known as Panchagavya pure ghee is traditionally crafted with five components of the mother cow i.e., Ksheera {A2 cow milk}, Ghritam {A2 cow ghee}, Dahi {curd made from A2 cow milk}, Mutra {cow urine} and Gomaya swarasa {the water extract prepared from the cow dung}. These five elements are mixed and a concoction is made after which they are heated using mild fire until everything evaporates and a pure medicated ghee is formed.
