Sorghum is a major crop. It is sown for both grain and fodder. It is a type of corn. It is grown in warm countries. They are of two types Rabi and Kharif. Its stalks and plants are used as fodder and are known as “chari” It is a grain packed with nutrients used in many ways. It is rich in minerals like Magnesium, Potassium, Phosphorus, Iron, and Zinc. It is an excellent source of Fibre, Antioxidants, and Proteins.
